The Shire holds citizenship ceremonies throughout the year when required. The Shire of Nannup is notified by the Department of Home Affairs when your application has been approved. Once received, you'll be booked to attend the next available ceremony.

Children aged 16 years and over are legally required to attend their citizenship ceremony and take the citizenship pledge. Children under the age of 16 aren't legally required to take the citizenship pledge, however are welcome to attend and take the pledge where possible.

Applying for citizenship

Applications for Australian Citizenship are processed and determined by the Department of Home Affairs.
