Tour of Margaret River 2022

There is no other race on the world cycling calendar quite like the Tour of Margaret River, the ultimate race for teams.
Tour of Margaret River is Australia's only Pro Am cycling event for teams. Established in 2009 it has now become the most prestigious amateur road racing event on the WA calendar, and the largest road racing event for teams in the country.
This year's event will see a record 180+ teams of 6 riders start at the event village, at the Nannup Sport & Recreation Precinct.
Road closures during the event will include:
Balingup - Nannup Road to through traffic on Saturday 5th November 2022 between the hours of 7.30am to 9.00am and on Sunday 6th November 2022 between the hours of 7.00am to 10.00am.
Sealed section of Gold Gully Road and East Nannup Road starting at Vasse Highway to through traffic on Friday 4th November 2022 between the hours of 10.00am to 2.00pm.
Centenary Drive on Friday 4th, Saturday 5th, Sunday 6th November 2022 between the hours of 6.00am to 6.00pm.
TOMR 2022 is a 3 day, 5 stage event. The 2022 provisional program is as follows:
Stage 1:
25.5km Team Time Trial starting from the Event Village at the Nannup Recreation Centre, heading out on Vasse Highway, turning onto Gold Gully Road and finishing on East Nannup Road near the Volunteer Fire Brigade HQ. Gold Gully and East Nannup Roads will be closed for this stage.
Stage 2
42km Road Race starting from the Event Village at the Nannup Recreation Centre, racing along Balingup Nannup Road to finish on Blackwood River Drive in Balingup just before the Dearle Street intersection. Balingup-Nannup Road will be closed for this stage.
Stage 3
32.9km Grand Pursuit, which starts neutrally from the Balingup Village Green onto the South Western Highway for 10km before turning onto Cundinup-Kirup Road, where racing will commence just past the railway line, and finish 32.9km later on Cundinup South Road, just near the intersection of Old Cundinup Road. Riders will return neutrally for 7km along the Vasse Highway to the event village in Nannup.
Stage 4
50.7km Road Race starting from the Nannup Recreation Centre, heading up the ‘Brockman Wall’ on the Brockman Highway, turning left onto Maranup Ford Road, and finishing in Greenbushes along Blackwood Road.
Stage 5
42.5km Team Time Trial, which starts neutrally from the Greenbushes Sports Ground onto the South Western Highway for 9km, before turning left onto Southampton Road just before Balingup, and continuing onto Hay Road and Balingup-Nannup Road before finishing at the Event Village at the Nannup Recreation Precinct.
