A special thanks to our incredible volunteers
Seth and Wyllo, the teenagers who helped set up and pack down; Cr Vicki Hansen, who managed the parking; Cr Patricia Fraser, who took care of accessible parking; Cr Cheryle Brown, who assisted with pre-sale ticketing; Heather McQueen from LDAG, who manned the tent and demonstrated standard drink sizes; and the many volunteers from groups like the Nannup Music Festival, Nannup Flower and Garden, Lions Club, Black Dog Ride, and Emergency Services crews, especially on such a hot day.
Generous Sponsors
We are deeply grateful to our sponsors: Tallison for their generous $5,000 contribution; Shire of Nannup; Nannup Fresh Fruit; and Worthy Contracting, for providing sand for the sandpit. A big thank you to the Shire works crew, who all pitched in to set up and clean up, making a big job much easier with so many hands.
Top Highlights of the Nannup Family Fun Day
Live Music and MC by the Nannup Music Club: The Nannup Music Club coordinated an engaging MC and showcased incredible young talent, including Tom Reagan on guitar and the gifted Charlotte Jade. Their performances created a vibrant atmosphere, leaving attendees captivated by their enchanting sounds.
Fairy Magic by Ladybird Entertainment: For the first time, we welcomed Ladybird Entertainment, who brought along three delightful fairies. They dazzled with face painting, craft activities, and a roaming fairy blowing giant bubbles. They were an absolute hit with children and families alike!
Extra Shade for Comfort: Additional gazebos provided much-needed shade across the event, offering respite from the hot weather and ensuring everyone could relax comfortably throughout the day.
Water-Themed Fun: The water slides and abundance of water activities were once again the centerpiece of the event. This annual tradition brings a unique and much-anticipated experience to Nannup, offering fun for all ages.
Delicious Food and Sweet Treats: The food, provided by the Lions Club, kept everyone energized for the day’s activities, and the ice creams handed out after lunch were a refreshing treat, warmly welcomed by all.
There were numerous family stalls all providing interesting activities and information. Including Emergency Services where everyone got to get up close and personal to fire trucks, ambulance and SES adding an educational and exciting element to the day.
